My father had died in San Diego on November 1, 2013 (Dia de los Muertos )and the next day I felt an odd sensation in my pelvis. A few weeks later, when I was back in Berlin, I went to the doctor to get checked and found a large tumor attached to my left kidney. I had I surgery at the Charité hospital in Berlin mid-January 2014 and decided I deserved a nice two-week trip in March somewhere where I could rest, recover and be inspired.
I decided on visiting Sevilla and it turned out to be a blessing. I had a great time walking and biking the cit. It is now one of my favorite cities. I created video diaries to share with my friends and family to let them know I was well and in good spirits. I now share them with you!
And some extra travel videos to Cordoba and my birthday trip to Istanbul the same year.
